About This Project

Develop an open-source precision nutrient management decision support system trained on local agronomic trial data and accessible via basic mobile phones. The system provides crop-specific fertilizer recommendations calibrated to local soil conditions, crop variety, and expected rainfall — replacing expensive soil testing with inference from observable farm characteristics. Targeting smallholder contexts where soil testing is economically and logistically inaccessible.
