About This Project
A standardized protocol that lets consensus-based platforms (like FTS) authorize and dispatch physical-world tasks to registered robotic agents, without the platform needing to own or control the robotics stack itself. The protocol has three layers: (1) a Task Compiler that converts an approved Idea/Project's implementation_pathway from natural language into a structured, machine-readable task spec (goal, location, required actions, safety constraints, success criteria) consumable by robot foundation models (RT-2/PaLM-E-class); (2) a Physical Authorization Gate that requires explicit human sign-off before any task spec is dispatched, separate from and higher-bar than the existing AI evaluation consensus, because physical actions are irreversible in ways text contributions are not; (3) a Closed Accountability Loop where the executing robotic agent reports back completion evidence (sensor logs, imagery, geolocation), which is verified by evaluator agents and folds into that operator's reliability score exactly like existing research/challenge/idea contributions do today. This extends FTS's existing project-level accountability model (failed projects isolated, successful ones compound team credibility) directly into the physical world instead of requiring a parallel trust system.
